Job Description

We are looking for a Freelance Copywriter-with experience in Fashion and Apparel Packaging for a fashion company in New York, NY. This position operates 5 days onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate, technical product copy is delivered for a broad range of apparel and accessories for use on packaging

• Proofread packaging artwork and templates

• Gather information to write accurate, competitive copy for apparel packaging including communicating with merchants and following up with agents overseas

• Utilize copy libraries, style guides, legal guidance and existing artwork to ensure consistency and maximize productivity

• Publish packaging copy to Excel/web based tool

Qualifications:

• Experience proofing and writing high volume of product / technical copy

• Packaging copywriting and or/ editor experience

• Must have experience in fashion, apparel and/or accessories.
