Job Title: QA Automation Engineer ( Java, Selenium, BDD Cucumber, Web & Mobile Testing)
Location: Bolingbrook, IL ( Onsite )
Duration/Term: Long Term Contract



Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in functional testing of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java + Selenium automation testing , experience with the BDD Cucumber framework , and familiarity with e-commerce domain testing. Experience with content management systems is an added advantage for this role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Functional Testing : Conduct thorough functional testing for web and mobile applications to identify bugs and ensure optimal performance.
2. Automation Testing : Design and implement automated test cases using Java + Selenium tools for efficient coverage and faster turnaround.
3. BDD Implementation : Utilize the BDD Cucumber framework to write test scripts that align with business requirements and promote collaboration.
4. E-Commerce Testing : Perform rigorous testing in e-commerce environments , ensuring seamless user experiences and reliability in transactions.
5. Content Management : Collaborate on testing content management systems to validate data integration and system performance.

Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in Web Application & Mobile apps functional testing .
• Proficiency in Java + Selenium for automated test development.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with BDD Cucumber framework .
• Familiarity with e-commerce domain testing .

• Experience with content management systems and associated testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear and effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
