Senior Vice President of Marketing
About the Role
As the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Marketing, you will report directly to the CEO and lead the company's revenue growth, brand positioning, and overall market presence. This is more than just a leadership role—it's an opportunity to shape the future of the organization. You'll collaborate closely with key business units, including Sales, Partnerships, Product, Customer Success, Enablement, and Executive Leadership, to reinforce market leadership and drive sustained growth.
Beyond strategy, you will play a vital role in fostering a collaborative culture, mentoring your team, and developing innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
Who You Are
You are an experienced B2B SaaS marketing executive with a proven track record of scaling mid-market and enterprise businesses. You have successfully built growth strategies through both direct demand generation and partnerships. Your expertise spans growth marketing, business development, and demand generation, utilizing inbound strategies and account-based marketing (ABM) to drive strong results across industries.
You measure success through key performance indicators such as pipeline and revenue contribution, MQL to SQL conversion, SQL to Close Won rates, and ICP lead generation. Your deep understanding of SaaS metrics—CAC, CAC Recovery, NRR, and Burn Ratio—enables you to design and implement data-driven, efficient strategies. As a leader, you thrive in developing high-performing teams and empowering others to excel.
What You'll Do
Strategic Marketing Leadership
Develop and execute a data-driven marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement.
Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate marketing performance and optimize strategies based on insights.
Oversee marketing operations, ensuring efficient processes, workflows, and systems such as HubSpot for lead flow and routing.
Collaborate with Revenue Operations to address bottlenecks and streamline the partner lead handoff process.
Branding, Messaging, and Positioning
Serve as a brand steward, ensuring messaging aligns with company values and resonates with target audiences.
Lead efforts to enhance brand awareness and establish a strong emotional connection with customers and partners.
Demand Generation & Customer Engagement
Drive demand generation strategies that convert prospects into loyal customers.
Oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital advertising, social media, email, and events.
Work closely with sales teams to align pipeline goals and revenue attainment.
Develop customer advocacy programs, leveraging testimonials, case studies, and joint marketing campaigns.
Build and nurture a customer community through forums, events, and user groups.
Partner and Channel Marketing
Develop strategic partner and channel marketing programs to expand market demand.
Collaborate with partnerships teams to create co-marketing opportunities that amplify brand impact.
Product Marketing & Market Expansion
Lead go-to-market (GTM) strategies for product launches, ensuring effective positioning and messaging.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Spearhead international marketing initiatives to drive global adoption.
Content Strategy & Creation
Define a content calendar positioning the company as an industry thought leader.
Align content strategies with business priorities and optimize organic reach through SEO, YouTube, and AI-driven recommendations.
Events & Conferences
Oversee strategy, planning, and execution of annual customer conferences and major industry events.
Secure compelling speakers and design engaging experiences that strengthen customer relationships.
Analyst Relations & Competitive Research
Build strong relationships with industry analysts to enhance market credibility.
Drive competitive intelligence efforts to inform marketing and sales strategies.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Support career growth through mentorship and development programs.

What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
15+ years of marketing leadership experience in SaaS.
Expertise in brand, demand generation, and product marketing.
Proven success scaling marketing organizations in Series B or growth-stage companies.
Strong analytical skills and ability to measure marketing ROI.
Proficiency in marketing technology tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and Google Analytics.
Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills.

Location
This is a fully remote position, open to candidates within the U.S. Occasional travel may be required.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $250,000-$275,000 + variable compensation
