**Where You Will Work**
Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

**Description**
Under close supervision, provides office and clerical support for the Library.
+ Provide customer service, answer routine inquiries, and refer patrons in need of professional assistance to the Librarian and/or Assistant Librarian
+ Answer telephone calls, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate personnel
+ Check library materials in and out
+ Register new library patrons
+ Sort and file registration forms, reports, correspondence and related documents
+ Assist in maintaining library forms, records and files
+ Type standard forms, letters and other materials from draft
+ Post information
+ Perform other clerical duties as required
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Six (6) months of office and clerical experience
+ Basic knowledge of general office procedures, methods and equipment
+ Able to use a variety of computer software, including word processing, database and spreadsheet applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
+ Skilled in typing and word processing
+ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
**Preferred**
+ High School diploma or GED
+ Previous experience working in a library
**Criteria/Conditions**
+ Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
+ Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
+ Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
+ Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required

**What We Offer You**
The estimated pay range for this role is currently **$16.00 - $21.50/hour.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
