Kroger is looking for current college students who are interested in gaining on the job training, mentorship, and real-world experience in their field of choice.
The Kroger Fall Internship Program is a 15-week immersive experience that offers students an opportunity to grow their careers through a variety of focused internship assignments. Fall 2025 dates: August 18 - December 5.

Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Kroger Co (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status). Minimum - Open to Product Design, Visual Design, Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related degree, must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university with a preferred GPA of 3.0

Desired - Technical majors preferred
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in groups or independently
- Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to preserve confidentiality of information
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present information to various levels of the organization
- Ability to analyze and interpret information and apply to business needs
- Commitment to providing customer service
- Prior experience in a retail environment
Responsibilities for Candidates:
- Partner with numerous product teams that are focused on making great user-centric products that delight customers and drive the business
- Understand and empathize with users by supporting Customer Research activities including interviews, contextual observation and surveys; use personas and other data to understand customer problems, behaviors and goals
- Focus on user problems utilizing journey maps, user flows, UX canvases or other artifacts that identify problems to solve through design
- Maintain and follow operational procedures and processes
- Participate in weekly/monthly department meetings
- Assist in working on new technology platforms that are revolutionizing the retail industry
- Engage with peers on committees that include philanthropy, branding and community events
- Participate in intern programs that support technical and leadership development within the organization
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
