Convey thought leadership and expertise in the Community Engagement Marketing space to deliver best-in-class localized Truist brand experiences in priority markets. Leverage relevant Truist-wide and brand experience assets to drive distinctive, business-strategy aligned client, prospect, and community engagement that grows brand consideration with specific target audiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.
Develop and implement plans to execute business and enterprise marketing strategies and plans.
Work with Client Marketing Management, Centers of Excellence, and business leaders and managers, to deliver marketing programs to clients and prospects in local business markets and across the enterprise.
Manage multiple sponsorship property relationships with responsibilities including but limited to fulfillment of all contractual assets, budget management, execution of strategic marketing programs to deliver on company goals and objectives, measurement and reporting on performance, etc.
Identify, research, analyze, recommend sponsorship opportunities (e.g., sports and entertainment properties, nonprofit organizations, goodwill, CRA, events, media programs) to management.5.
Lead complex and visible projects with notable risk and complexity. Make decisions within established policies, procedures, and established objectives.
Identify and resolve technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges.
Develop and execute marketing programs to support the advancement of Truist's purpose including but not limited to programs that enhance teammate and client experience and promote community engagement and volunteerism.
Exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
Impact a range of client, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training
4+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the Marketing discipline (e.g., Marketing P's, Market research, analytics, digital)
Experience managing projects or project work streams
Experience with Salesforce or CRM systems
Knowledge of the clients and industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market
Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and receive minimal guidance
Deliver marketing programs on budget and on time
Strong personal presence

Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or Master's degree in related field
B2B marketing or sales experience
6+ years of related experience
Previous experience in financial services, retail or packaged goods industries
Consumer/Commercial/Corporate/Wealth banking client, relationship, product and/or segment marketing experience
Client services or hospitality experience
