Position:Â Video Editor (Short Form)
Working Hours:Â M-F, 9AM-5PM PST (California Hours)
Salary Range : $1500- $1700/month

About the Role :

We're looking for a creative, self-driven Video Editor with a strong background in short-form, vertical content creation for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. This full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment, works well independently, and aligns with Christian values, including transparency, integrity, and a strong work ethic. You’ll play a key role in helping take content ideation and editing off the team’s plate so leadership can focus on strategy and growth.

Key Responsibilities

● Edit and deliver 21+ short-form videos per week optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
● Clip and polish YouTube videos into engaging short content
● Perform video color correction, audio balancing, and fine-tuning for all deliverables
● Collaborate on content ideas and trend research
● Upload and manage review cycles via Frame.io (or Google Drive if needed)
● Stay up to date with social media trends, audio, memes, and pacing styles
● Communicate daily via Slack
● Work independently, meet deadlines consistently, and proactively solve challenges without micromanagement 

Social Media & Editing Focus

● Create eye-catching short-form videos for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
● Repurpose long-form content for cross-platform use
● Identify and implement current trends and viral elements
● Help develop the creative process and scale content production Requirements
● Full-time availability (no other jobs or freelance commitments)
● Experienced in editing short-form vertical content
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-output environment
● Strong communicator who can work autonomously and hit the ground running
● Preferably has prior experience working full-time in a business setting
● Aligned with the company’s values: hardworking, honest, and team-oriented
● Required to submit portfolio

Tools & Tech Requirements

● Proficiency with your preferred video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
● Familiarity with Frame.io (highly preferred)
● Slack (daily communication)
● Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
● Monday.com or Trello (task tracking/project management)
