LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading retailer looking to add a
Video Editor to their in-house creative studio!
As a
Video Editor , you will play a key role in producing high-quality video content that supports our marketing, communications, and other business needs. You will be responsible for all aspects of video editing, from assembling raw footage to delivering polished final products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video editing software, a keen eye for visual storytelling, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Video Editor Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality content that aligns with project goals and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with producers, directors, and creative teams to bring concepts to life.
- Work with graphic designers to create logos, animation and graphics
- Add music, sound effects, motion graphics, and visual effects as needed.
- Ensure videos are optimized for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Maintain project organization, file management, and backup protocols.
- Track and report video performance metrics (views, watch time, engagement) to inform future content strategy.
- Upload final videos to social media platforms, YouTube and other applicable areas in addition to writing titles, descriptions, tagging videos, and selecting thumbnails.
- Meet deadlines and adapt to evolving feedback quickly and professionally.
Video Editor Requirements:
- Proven experience in video editing with a portfolio or showreel demonstrating a range of styles and platforms.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of video editing principles, including composition, pacing, and storytelling.
- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
- Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Creativity and a strong eye for visual detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with motion graphics and Adobe After Effects is a plus.
- Basic understanding of audio editing principles.
