Job Description:
The School District of Milton is seeking applicants for a Physical Education Teacher (1.0 FTE) at Northside
Intermediate School (fourth grade through sixth grade).

This position begins in August 2025, and offers an exciting opportunity to join our team in shaping the future success
of our students. We provide a competitive starting salary of $48,816 (based on the 2024-25 matrix) for a 190-day
contract, available to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree. Additional compensation is available for those with prior
public education teaching experience and further education beyond a bachelor’s degree, with adjustments for the
2025-2026 contract year to be determined. The School District of Milton’s comprehensive benefits package further

Qualifications:
The School District of Milton is seeking an individual who will engage students in the learning process. Candidates
should have an outstanding ability to engage students and inspire them to explore the fields of physical education and
health. Candidates should be organized, flexible, and have strong communication skills. Co-curricular coaching and
advisor positions may be available. The candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues as a positive and
substantial contributor to the school and district; and assume a leadership role in the implementation of district
initiatives.

It is required that applicants must hold or be eligible for WI DPI Certification in Physical Education – 1530, and
have the appropriate position code for 4th – 6th grade students.
