Duties

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Assist in menu development by suggesting new sushi items or seasonal specials.
• Adhere to all food handling regulations and safety guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests about menu offerings and making recommendations.

Skills

• Proven experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings, particularly in sushi preparation.
• Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food handling, meal preparation, and presentation techniques.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and the ability to accommodate special requests from guests.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring each dish is prepared to perfection.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and interaction with guests.
• Experience in catering or working within a dietary department is a plus but not required.
