The Role Intern must be available to work full time (40 hours/week) during the 10-week program
Program Dates: May 29 - August 7, 2026.
Location : This position is fully remote / work from home in the continental US.
- Candidates local to Seattle/Bellevue, WA would have opportunities for engagement with local team members.
Work Authorization : US work authorization required for this role. Individuals requiring visa sponsorship are not eligible.
Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate's commitment to the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.
The Main Responsibilities Lumen's Commercial Strategy organization is looking for two Strategy Analyst interns to support priority play design and Lumen's go-to-market (GTM) framework. This team's focus is centered on Lumen's GTM strategy - how and to whom Lumen markets our products, services, and solutions - with the goal of sales enablement that drives revenue growth. The intern will have the opportunity to participate in annual strategy review and planning processes, as well as present internally to Lumen leadership across functions and levels.
Main Responsibilities - Play Design & GTM: Measure and understand efficacy and power of plays within market segments and channels; revamp and modify plays based on seller and partner sentiment. Build out use cases & outcomes cross functionally with marketing and product.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Collect, analyze, and interpret sources of feedback from the field; integrate analysis into adhoc and annual strategy setting process.
- Collaboration: Partner with sellers to drive adoption of plays into segments. Collaborate with marketing to build Bill of Materials that supports the plays.
Required Qualifications What We Look For in a Candidate - Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
- Graduating August 2026 - May 2027
- Preferred fields include but not limited to: Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or related programs.
Proficiency And Understanding Of - Microsoft tech stack - Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Copilot, SharePoint
- Leadership capacity and self-starter - can lead from the front; bold and curious; demonstrates a growth mindset
Preferred Qualifications - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoys collaboration and works well in team environment
- Comfort interacting with different levels of leadership and presenting solutions
- Works to think of creative solutions to challenging problems, unafraid to ask questions
- Ability to multitask while working in fast-paced environment
- Customer-first mindset
- Power BI experience
Compensation Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual's level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.
Hourly Based Pay Range Min: $26/hour
Max: $38/hour
