This is a contingent position based upon contract award Key Responsibilities As a Security Monitor (Escort), you will: + Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. + Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. + Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons. + Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property. + Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards. + Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates. + Other duties as required Qualifications: + Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position. + Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense. + Registered as a security officer. + High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation. + Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards. + Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements. + Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure. Clearance: Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required. Basic Compensation: $29.81 - $44.66/hr - CA rates only The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
