Free parking PRN Requirements: Note: if you already hold a part-time or full-time role with Mercy the requirement may not be the same, lets discussMust work 36 hours in a 6-week period1/3 shifts have to be a weekend shiftHoliday Requirement: 1 winter and 1 summer holiday About the Unit: Our unit consists of labor, delivery, postpartum, well newborns, and a level II special care nursery. In addition, we also care for GYN surgical patients. Nurses are expected to work fluidly with all patient populations Overview: Assists in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas. Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department. Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed. Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications:Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited schoolLicense: current RN license in our state or can be obtained within 90 days Experience: Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience in LDRP/NurseryNurse needs to be proficient in all areas of maternal nursing and newborn care for a PRN role.Certifications:Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or can be obtained within 90 daysNOTE: One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe sabled/Veterans
