We are seeking a Residential Leasing Intern to join our Gold Coast Leasing Team in Chicago, IL from May 27 - August 15, 2025 . This position is a full-time summer internship for students interested in learning more about residential property management and leasing. This internship will include assisting in conducting all aspects of leasing activities, including the following responsibilities: 

• Conducts leasing activities, including but not limited to touring prospective residents, processing applications, and preparing leases while following all regulatory guidelines.
• Enters new lease information into leasing software and ensures accuracy.
• Prepares, maintains, and manages new and existing lease files.
• Monitors the CRM system and consistently follows-up on prospective leads and existing resident inquiries.
• Provides excellent customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, visitors, and other customers. 
• Assists in move-in / move-out process.
• Receives resident service requests and administers building work order system.
• Conducts regular walk-throughs of facility and reports concerns to building maintenance.
• Assists in the coordination of resident events and communication.

Qualified candidates will be self-starters with a passion for sales and customer service.  Previous sales experience with proven, exceptional closing skills preferred. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and administrative acumen. Candidates must have or obtain current Illinois leasing agent license.

The schedule for this position will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Hours for weekdays are at 9 am - 6 pm, hours for Saturdays are 10 am - 5 pm. Days off are Sunday and Tuesday.

The hourly rate for this position is $19 + commission eligibility.
