Job Description

Immediate need for a Purchasing Assistant to work on a temp to hire basis.

Assisting in the procurement of goods and services for the organization.
Collaborating with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Updating and maintaining procurement records and databases.

Responsibilities
Processing purchase orders and verifying accuracy of orders.
Negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms.
Monitoring inventory levels and reordering supplies as needed.
Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Assisting in the evaluation and selection of suppliers.
