As our Proposal Writer, you’ll be at the heart of our business development efforts—leading the charge from opportunity to submission. You’ll manage proposal timelines, coordinate with subject matter experts, and craft persuasive content that reflects our strengths and values.

• Leading proposal planning and execution from start to finish
• Crafting clear, engaging, and persuasive proposal narratives
• Interfacing with technical experts to translate capabilities into winning language
• Managing deadlines, compliance checks, and quality control
• Collaborating with designers to create polished visuals and layouts
• Supporting post-submission actions including debriefs and responses

• U.S. Citizenship and active or obtainable security clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Writing, Communications, Marketing or a related field
• 5 to 7 years of hands-on federal proposal experience (FAR familiarity a must!)
• Ability to work on-site at SteerBridge HQ five days a week.
• Experience leading full proposal lifecycles—RFP breakdowns, win themes, team coordination
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills for technical and management volumes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office , Adobe Acrobat , and SharePoint
• A calm, organized presence—even when deadlines are tight

A salary commensurate with experience will be offered.
SteerBridge salaries depend on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to the contract budget, role, skill set and level of experience.
