Job Title: MRI Technologist

Shift Type: Varied

Shift Schedule: 8-hour shifts

Salary Range: $37.94 - $53.99 per hour (unionized; dependent on experience)

Role Overview:

The MRI Technologist performs high-quality imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality. This role requires critical thinking skills, efficient workflow management, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate MRI imaging exams for neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Apply critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions and adjust imaging techniques as necessary.
• Identify and respond to emergent situations appropriately.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records and uphold confidentiality standards.
• Utilize imaging and hospital computer systems efficiently.
• Maintain professional interactions with physicians, patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Follow safety and compliance protocols related to imaging procedures and medication handling.
• Demonstrate continuous skill proficiency and improvement through training and professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of MRI imaging techniques and safety procedures.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and imaging software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to patient safety, comfort, and high-quality diagnostic imaging.
