My client is an American Common Core school located in the beautiful and growing Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.  Ras Al Khaimah gives you a perfect work-life balance as there are many things to do once school is finished.  Many sporting events take place here plus you have much more access to leisure pursuits cause the Emirate has less traffic and cleaner air.  It is close to the ocean and the mountains.

The students are mainly from Emirati families where English is not the first language.  if you have experience of working in the Middle East or the GCC then it would be an advantage to your application.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering Business Studies and Economics to Middle and High School Students and have experience working with non-native speakers of English.

Salary Package

• TAX-FREE salary up to 14,000 AED per month (about £3200 per month -
• FREE single 1 bedroom about 7 minutes drive from the school which is fully furnished (5 mins walk to a supermarket) - Housing allowance of 2000k is an option (with no utility allowance)

Requirements To Apply

• A bachelor's degree in Maths from an accredited University 
• A valid state teaching license in Business Studies or PGCE in Maths with QTS
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
• Qualified from a recognized university
• EXCELLENT command of written and spoken English
• Up to date with modern pedagogy
• Experience of the USA Common Core is highly beneficial
• Able to adapt to the teaching culture in the United Arab Emirates
• Must have experience teaching online
