Job Description

ASSYST  is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual who has a knack for writing, presenting, engaging, and producing artifacts that effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing skills, technical aptitude, and strong attention to detail.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • The Technical Writer authors and edits standard operating procedures, user guides, quick reference guides, training manuals, after-action reports, and/or other IT-related documentation.
  • Develop technical documentation in consultation with business analysts, systems analysts, testers, trainers, and programmers;
  • Develops technical response to RFP's in collaboration with the proposal and business development team.
  • Coordinate with organizational teams for quality control and final production of documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer science), Professional Writing, or another language-related field.
  • Experience writing technical documentation;
  • Excellent writing and editing skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact frequently with technical research development personnel;
  • Ability to work productively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment;
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
