Role: Jr. IT Technical Analyst / User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Location: Jackson, MI Hybrid (On-Site/Remote)

Key Responsibilities:

• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborate with business partners to understand testing requirements. Execute structured and unstructured test scripts to validate the new enterprise software solution's functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Defect Escalation and Reporting: Identify, document, and escalate defects encountered during testing. Work with development teams to ensure prompt resolution of issues, maintaining detailed records of defect reports and resolutions.
• Technical Writing: Create and maintain clear and concise documentation of testing processes, test cases, and test results. Ensure documentation is accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Issue Tracking: Log and track defects using issue tracking systems, ensuring the entire lifecycle from identification to resolution is monitored.
• Status Reporting: Provide regular status updates on testing progress, defect resolution, and overall project health.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside development, quality assurance, and business analyst teams to ensure a unified approach to testing and software implementation.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving testing processes and methodologies to enhance the overall quality of the software and its implementation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Detail-Oriented: Detailed approach to testing, ensuring thorough execution and tracking of test cases.
• Organized: Ability to maintain structured testing processes, accurate documentation, and timely issue tracking.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills with familiarity in testing tools and methodologies.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate testing results and issue resolutions.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical abilities to identify defects, resolve issues, and improve testing processes.

Education and Experience:

• Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
