Industrial Electrician | Mattawan, MI

Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and industrial machinery.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical equipment and controls.
• Install, maintain, and calibrate electrical components, wiring, and control panels.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Execute Lockout/Tagout procedures and adhere to all safety regulations and codes.
• Work with PLCs, VFDs, and motor control systems for programming, repair, and calibration.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve potential electrical hazards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
• Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, motor controls, and power distribution.
• Ability to read, interpret, and update electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and root cause analysis of electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70E and other relevant electrical safety standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and advanced troubleshooting (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell).
• Certification or specialized training in NFPA 70E / Arc Flash safety.
• Experience with robotics maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in commissioning and programming Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Knowledge of instrumentation and process control systems.
