We're hiring a reliable and enthusiastic laundry attendant. Our laundry attendants perform a variety of duties including washing and folding linens, stripping rooms, and some cleaning. Our ideal candidate has experience with commercial laundry products and the ability to lift 20 pounds or more regularly. This position is part to full time. • Load all laundry into the washer and add specified cleaning agents according to directions
• Inspect all linens to identify stains and remove stains with appropriate cleaning products and techniques
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the general manager
• Remove garments and lines after each wash cycle and dry according to specific manufacturer instructions
• Monitor all laundry equipment and notify the facilities manager of any maintenance requirements

Qualifications:

• Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products
• We require the ability to consistently lift 20 or more pounds
• At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred
• Graduated high school, received GED or equivalent
