Position Summary: As a Heavy Civil Bridge Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of all aspects of bridge construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. From assisting with project planning and scheduling to supporting budget management and team coordination, you'll contribute to the successful delivery of projects while gaining valuable experience in heavy civil construction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the management of heavy civil bridge construction projects from initiation to completion.
* Support the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to project timelines and financial goals.
* Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution.
* Assist in monitoring project progress, identifying risks and challenges, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
* Participate in quality control and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and key tasks.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, with exposure to bridge projects preferred.
* Solid understanding of construction project management principles and practices.
* Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
