Job Description

Seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the financial operations of a reputable general contractor.

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making and ensure our financial success.

Responsibilities:

Manage financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for stakeholders.
Lead the budgeting process and collaborate with department heads.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for performance optimization.
Coordinate the year-end audit process with external auditors.
Stay updated on industry trends and compliance requirements.
Provide guidance and support to the finance team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.
Proven experience as a Controller in construction.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and systems.
Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in managing a finance team.
