Job Description

Job Title: Controller – Manufacturing
Location: North Aurora , IL - On Site
Salary Range: $120,000 to $140,000 DOE + Bonus
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401K and PTO
We are currently working on a Controller search for a growing company in the manufacturing space. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, and financial strategy while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, industry regulations, and company policies
Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
Oversee cost control initiatives and contractor billing processes
Manage financial systems and reporting tools (Sage 300, Paylocity, Timberline)
Implement internal controls and identify process improvements to enhance efficiency
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA a plus)
8+ years of experience in a financial leadership role within manufacturing or related
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial modeling, and internal controls
Experience managing, coaching, and mentoring finance teams
High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel occasionally to a sister location in Indianapolis
