A dynamic and fast-paced technology development company specializing in advanced industrial mixing systems is seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join its team. The organization designs and markets state-of-the-art solutions for diverse global industries, offering a rewarding environment for innovation and professional growth.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chemical Engineer to lead research and development efforts in advanced mixing technologies. This role focuses on solving technically complex challenges, optimizing processes, and contributing to the commercialization of innovative products. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing advanced mixing technology, advancing materials-related products, and supporting their real-world applications. Position: Chemical Engineer
Compensation: $75K-$125K
Location: Southwest Montana

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and development on advanced mixing technologies, addressing key issues like mixing, mass transport, heat transfer, scaling, process control, and optimization.

• Design and develop chemical processes and equipment for diverse applications, including solid-solid, liquid-solid, and liquid-liquid mixing systems, from bench to production scale.

• Lead projects from inception to completion, including defining project requirements, resolving technical challenges, and driving product/process development.

• Apply advanced chemical engineering theories and techniques to solve complex problems and create innovative solutions.

• Prepare and present research protocols, reports, and grant proposals to internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to commercialize new technologies and ensure successful product implementation in client applications.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in chemical engineering research and development or process development, with a focus on innovation.

• Proven experience in industrial applications such as energetics, pharmaceuticals, batteries/energy storage, or other advanced processes.

• Expertise in chemical process design, equipment development, and mixing fundamentals, including batch, continuous-batch, and continuous mixing processes.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a commitment to excellence.

• U.S. citizenship and ability to travel internationally as required.

Preferred Skills and Attributes:

• Knowledge of advanced mixing processes, including solid-solid, liquid-solid, and liquid-liquid systems.

• Experience in scaling, process control, and optimization for industrial applications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for research and development.
