Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities, Operations, and Emergency Response (Open to Current CUNY Employees Only)
POSITION DETAILS
The City University of New York (CUNY) is undertaking an ambitious multi-billion-dollar, multi-year capital design and construction program across its 26 campuses. With a strategic focus on bringing its facilities to a state of good repair, the Office of Facilities Planning, Construction, and Management (FPCM) is committed to delivering professional facility operations and maintenance system wide.
CUNY FPCM oversees 300 buildings encompassing 26 million square feet of properties. The Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) for Facilities Maintenance and Operations is a critical member of the executive management team, driving excellence in facilities upgrades and maintenance programs while ensuring consistency and standardizing facility operations to support the university's mission. This is a highly visible role that interacts with all constituents of the campus community and external stakeholders.

NOTE:
Until further notice, this position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:
This position is in CUNY's Executive Compensation Plan. All executive positions require a minimum of a bachelor?s degree and eight years' related experience.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, all applicants for this position must possess the following qualifications:
Must be a current CUNY Employee. Bachelor?s degree in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, or other university degree in a related field and eight years of progressively responsible related experience in facilities operations, with expertise in building engineering, construction, and maintenance standards.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The salary range for this position is $205,000 - $225,000, commensurate with education, skills, and experience.
