Location : We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager for T-Mobile Park , home of the Seattle Mariners.

Since the Inaugural Game on July 15, 1999, T-Mobile Park has gained a reputation locally, regionally and nationally as a terrific setting for baseball and a great place for baseball fans. Sweeping views of Seattle's downtown skyline, breathtaking sunsets over Puget Sound, combined with excellent views of game action from all angles give fans at T-Mobile Park an experience unequalled in Major League Baseball.

Principal Function :

The Assistant General Manager works in close partnership with the General Manager to oversee all food and beverage operations at T-Mobile Park, ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence. This role serves as a key leader in supporting communication, resource allocation, and operational execution to help meet and exceed financial and guest experience goals.

The Assistant General Manager will take the lead on special projects designed to enhance the overall food and beverage program, including developing and refining standard operating procedures, strengthening client relationships, and identifying innovative ways to improve service delivery. They will also share operational oversight of the stadium with the General Manager, ensuring full coverage and leadership presence throughout all areas of the venue.

In collaboration with the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager will support department heads across concessions, premium services, culinary, warehouse, and administrative teams to ensure seamless event execution, accurate forecasting, and efficient post-event reconciliation and reporting. Together, they will drive a strong, guest-focused culture while achieving revenue goals and maintaining operational control.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations at T-Mobile Park, including concessions, premium services, culinary, warehouse, and administrative functions.
  • Develop, implement, and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) that support operational consistency and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client specifications, union agreements, contractual obligations, and all legal and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with financial performance management through effective cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and implementation of sales plans.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships, regularly communicating to align operational goals with client expectations.
  • Work closely with department heads to manage staffing, training, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet both business and operational needs.

Qualifications/Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree and/or appropriate combination of education and experience to support on-the-job effectiveness.
  • 3-5 years of food and beverage leadership experience in a stadium, arena, or similar sports venue.
  • Union experience.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen with past P&L responsibility.
  • Strong working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and general workplace safety standards with knowledge of Health Department requirements.
  • High proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Experience overseeing and administering point-of-sale (POS) systems, including setup, maintenance, and reporting functions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management; Ability to promote and participate in team environment concepts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Initiative in identifying and resolving problems timely and effectively.

Other Requirements :

  • Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.

Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
