Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Lawndale, California. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The role involves supporting daily office operations and ensuring efficient communication across teams. Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations. - Respond promptly to inbound calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members. - Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records and databases. - Serve as the first point of contact, handling receptionist duties with professionalism. - Assist in preparing reports, documents, and correspondence as required. - Coordinate schedules and appointments to streamline team workflows. - Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary. - Support team members in various clerical tasks and special projects. - Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures in all administrative activities. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in administrative support or a related role. - Proficiency in handling inbound calls and managing receptionist tasks. - Strong skills in data entry and record-keeping. - Familiarity with office management practices and procedures. - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Proficiency with office software and tools, including word processing and spreadsheets.
