Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Compensation: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team at a fast-paced food manufacturing facility in the City of Industry. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are in excellent working condition, and leading a team of maintenance technicians to maintain high standards of safety, productivity, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure all equipment is functioning optimally.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery and systems to identify potential issues and initiate preventive maintenance.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure production schedules are met without interruptions.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and provide technical guidance to the maintenance team.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts inventory.
Manage and oversee repair projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Work closely with management to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
5+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the food industry.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Proven experience in managing and leading a maintenance team.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial maintenance.
Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting.
Must be willing to work a 1st shift schedule.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree preferred.
Competitive hourly pay: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour.
